WHO WE ARE
The Baby Stewart Foundation is a 501c3 founded by Darnell & Ashley Stewart following the death of their 3 1/2 month old son, Carylton "CJ" Stewart Jr.
WHAT WE DO
The Baby Stewart Foundation is a safe, encouraging, nonjudgmental environment to support women, men, and families with pregnancy, babies, and infants.
WHY WE DO IT
On August 6, 2015, CJ Stewart died after being left alone in a hot vehicle. Although accidental, we found that we are not alone in this. Every year, 37 babies die as a result of being left alone in a hot vehicle for an extended time. We want to shed light on this epidemic and positively impact the community by reaching out to families who have lost a child, provide families with car seats and baby items, and support females during pregnancy.

MEETING THE NEEDS OF FAMILIES WITH INFANTS AND TODDLERS

 

OUR MISSION
The mission of The Baby Stewart Foundation is to "meet the needs of families with infants and toddlers."
  • Serve clients regardless of age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability
  • Providing education and awareness to the community on babies and infants dying of heat exhaustion in vehicles
  • Providing car seat safety classes to families and car seats
  • Offering support and healing to women and men who have lost a child
  • Providing families with resources and baby items
  • Providing individuals with personal hygiene care
